Wednesday 4th November – Action For Sustainable Housing (ASH), 7:30pm via Zoom

Our housing group are campaigning for more sustainable housing. If you would like to learn more, please join our call on Wednesday evening at 7:30.

Save Rotary Woods Walk!

PLEASE JOIN US!

Friday 21st August 2020 at 6pm. Meet on West Park on the corner by Otley Road/ Beech Grove. We will walk up Otley Road to the Pinewoods and Rotary Woods – handing out leaflets to let people know about the latest landscaping plans which destroy 2 acres of Rotary Woods and do not compensate for this valuable habitat. Litter Picks:

Harlow Greens on 25th July cleared 10 bin bags of litter in and around the Harlow Hill Play area. Refreshments included mango kefir and flapjack. What community signs could be successful in reducing litter?

Ainsty Greens spent a morning clearing the verges of litter around Bickerton and Green Hammerton, as part of an annual spring tidy and raising awareness of the problems with single use plastics. Saturday 7th March – thank you to everyone that came along and thank you to The Bay Horse Inn, Green Hammerton for the delicious chips!
